The primary function of a laboratory dye jigger is to simulate the industrial dyeing process and verify the feasibility of dye recipes and process parameters (such as temperature, time, and speed) on small samples (typically 30-50cm wide fabric). Compared to industrial equipment, the core requirements for laboratory equipment include:

 

1. Precision Control: Temperature (±1°C), speed (±0.1rpm), and time must be precisely adjusted to ensure data consistency between the sample and subsequent production runs.

2. Flexibility: Supports a variety of fabric types (such as cotton, polyester, and silk) and dye liquor systems (reactive dyes, disperse dyes, etc.), and accommodates different bath ratios (typically 1:5 to 1:20).

3. Simplified Operation: Researchers may not be full-time equipment operators, so an intuitive human-machine interface and automated procedures are required.

4. Safety and Environmental Protection: Laboratory space is limited, and the equipment must minimize the risk of dye liquor leaks and facilitate waste disposal.

Traditional laboratory dye jiggers often have rough mechanical structures, insufficient temperature control accuracy, or single functions, resulting in poor experimental repeatability or cumbersome operation, and are in urgent need of targeted improvements.
