How Long Does It Take to Recover a High-Temperature Dyeing Machine After Cleaning?

Apr 13, 2026

I. Recovery Process and Time Allocation

1. Thoroughly Rinse Residual Agents (30-60 minutes)
Use plenty of clean water to circulate and rinse the vat until the effluent pH is neutral (pH≈7) to prevent cleaning agent residue from affecting subsequent dyeing. This step may take longer if strong acid or alkali cleaning agents were used.

2. Check Key Components for Clogged Flow (15-30 minutes)
Check that nozzles, filters, circulation pumps, etc., are unobstructed, and remove any loose dirt or debris to prevent blockages that could affect dye liquor circulation.

3. Natural Ventilation or Rust Prevention (Within 30 minutes)
After cleaning, drain the water from the vat and prevent rust by natural ventilation or manual drying. If the environment is humid, the drying time can be extended appropriately.

4. Neutralization Treatment (e.g., using strong acid/alkali cleaning) (Optional, 30 minutes)

If corrosive agents such as hydrochloric acid or NaOH are used in the cleaning process, it is recommended to neutralize with dilute ammonia (10-30 mL/L) or sodium carbonate solution (50 g/L) before rinsing to ensure no residue remains.

II. Key Factors Affecting Recovery Time

1. Cleaning Agent Type: Using a neutral cleaning agent (such as Transfar TF-105F) requires no neutralization and can proceed directly to production preparation, shortening recovery time.

2. Dye System Change: When switching between light and dark colors or different types of dyes, additional water testing or no-load operation is required to verify cleanliness, potentially extending recovery time to over 3 hours.

3. Operator Skill and Team Coordination: Experienced operators can efficiently complete inspections and resets, improving recovery efficiency.

4. Safety Precautions: The heating system should be shut off during recovery. The equipment should only be restarted after confirming no residue or blockages. Operators must wear protective equipment and maintain adequate ventilation in the work area.
