What problems arise from fabric jamming in an overflow dyeing machine?

1. Severe decline in dyeing quality: When fabric remains piled up and jammed in the vessel for an extended period, areas unable to make full contact with the circulating dye liquor develop defects such as uneven dyeing (patchiness), shade variations, and creases; in severe cases, the entire batch may be rendered unusable.
2. Significant drop in production efficiency: Clearing a jam requires stopping the machine and reworking the fabric, which drastically extends the production cycle for that batch, disrupts subsequent production schedules, and slows down overall output.
3. Increased risk of equipment damage: A jam causes a sharp spike in the load on circulation pumps and fabric guide rollers, leading to issues such as motor overload trips, impeller wear, and deformation of transmission components; chronic jamming also accelerates wear on the vessel's internal tracks, significantly shortening the equipment's service life.
4. Increased consumption of materials and resources: Reworking jammed fabric consumes additional dyes, auxiliaries, water, and electricity, substantially raising the energy consumption and material costs for that batch.
