Main Structural Components
Dyeing Vat: Also known as a dye bath, located at the bottom of the equipment, it holds the dye liquor. The entire machine is made of stainless steel; parts in contact with the dye liquor typically use 316L stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance, while other parts use 304 stainless steel.
Fabric Rollers: Two alternating forward and reverse fabric rollers are located at the top of the equipment. The fabric winds back and forth between the two rollers; each winding is called a "cycle".
Sealed Vat Cover: This is a key component of the high-temperature, high-pressure dyeing machine. The cover completely seals the dye vat, forming a pressure vessel that allows internal temperatures exceeding 100°C (typically reaching 140°C). The cover design must comply with pressure vessel specifications to ensure production safety.
Dye Liquor Circulation System: Includes a circulation pump, piping, and filters. This system ensures that the dye liquor maintains a uniform temperature and concentration within the sealed space, preventing uneven dyeing (such as color difference or uneven color distribution).
Tension and speed control system: Modern equipment usually uses a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) in conjunction with a frequency converter to precisely control the speed of the two fabric rolls, maintain a constant linear speed and tension of the fabric, and prevent the fabric from stretching due to excessive tension or wrinkling due to insufficient tension.
