Pre-reset checks:
Cooling test: The protector indicator light goes out, the button pops up, or the surface is no longer hot to the touch.
Troubleshooting: Check for mechanical jamming, abnormal tension, or electrical short circuits to ensure the fault has been eliminated.
Reset operation: Operate according to protector type:
1. Manual reset type (most common): Locate the red button marked "RESET" and press it with your finger or a tool. A "click" sound indicates it has reset.
If the button is stuck, gently pry it open with a screwdriver.
2. Automatic reset type: Power will automatically resume after cooling down; no operation is required. If it does not reset, check if the protector is damaged.
3. Electronic/intelligent type: Power off and then on again, or reset via the "Reset" button on the control panel or communication command.
Post-reset operation:
Trial run: Run under no-load or low-load conditions. Once no abnormalities are confirmed, load the device.
Record: Record the reset time, operator, and cause of the fault for analysis. Precautions
Safety First: Power must be disconnected before resetting; avoid operating while the circuit is energized.
Forced Reset Prohibited: If an overload occurs immediately after resetting, the fault has not been resolved and professional repair is required.
Regular Maintenance: Check the protector contacts and springs to ensure sensitive operation.
