I. Performance Evaluation of Core Components
1. Cylinder
Evaluation Indicators: Check straightness, roundness, and wall thickness (focusing on welds and the feed end). If the wall thickness reduction exceeds 20% or the internal lifting device is damaged, a major overhaul is required.
Inspection Methods: Use a laser alignment instrument to measure straightness, and an ultrasonic thickness gauge to measure wall thickness in a grid pattern.
2. Gear System
Evaluation Indicators: Measure gear meshing backlash. Exceeding the maximum value indicates severe tooth wear, requiring replacement.
Inspection Methods: Use the lead pressure method to measure backlash, and a vibration analyzer to measure bearing and gear vibration values.
3. Sealing Device
Evaluation Indicators: Check the sealing effect and wear. If air leakage is severe (e.g., worn-out scales or excessive labyrinth gaps), replacement is required.
II. Maintenance Costs and Failure Frequency
Maintenance Costs: If monthly maintenance costs are close to or exceed equipment depreciation costs, it indicates a high failure rate period, and a major overhaul is more economical.
Failure Frequency: If frequent equipment downtime for maintenance affects production, a major overhaul should be considered.
III. Safety Hazard Investigation
Drum Body: If the wall thickness of critical parts is severely thinned or there is a risk of cracking, a major overhaul is necessary.
Load-Bearing Foundation: If cracks appear or there are hidden dangers in the main load-bearing components, thorough rectification is required.
IV. Brand and After-Sales Service Reference
Brands: For equipment from brands such as Hongcheng Washing Machine and Yadong Machinery, if core components (such as gears and seals) have reached their design life and their performance has deteriorated, a major overhaul is recommended.
After-Sales Service: Choose brands with long warranty periods and fast service response, such as Hongshun which offers nationwide warranty, to reduce maintenance costs.
