The SMD series Low Tension Fabric Jigger Machine is engineered for precise, gentle fabric handling. With continuously adjustable fabric tension of 0–80 kg and constant linear speed of 5–150 m/min, it delivers low-tension dyeing that protects sensitive fabrics such as lightweight, elastic and specialty materials.
The series covers the full production range - from laboratory sample machines (SMD150) to large-capacity industrial machines (up to SMD900), with roller widths from 1800 to 3400 mm, perfectly adapting to small-batch, multi-variety production.
Working Principle
The Low Tension Fabric Jigger Machine travels alternately between the two main A/B rollers while dye liquor is circulated and impregnated evenly through the fabric. Constant-tension and constant-linear-speed control keep the fabric stable throughout the batch, avoiding stretching, distortion and creasing.
An AI software control system with a touchscreen, driven by vector variable-frequency servo motors, precisely manages tension, speed, temperature and liquor ratio, while options such as active fabric-roll misalignment (edge control) and pH online detection can be configured for special processes.
